A native of Gary, Indiana, and long-term resident of the Houston, TX metro area, Carla is a proud Finance graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, and a respected author and speaker in her field. Carla wrote and developed the award-winning economic empowerment program “Know Your Money” for the National Urban League underwritten by The Altria Corporation. Best-selling book series, The Financial Truth™, written and published by Carla, include “Your Mind, Your Mouth, and Your Money”, “The Road to Wealth Begins with You”, and “Humble, Wise, and Wealthy Living”.
